About

As humans, we have come to know, for thousands of years, that sound, rhythm, and harmony can trigger highly transformative experiences. According to recent scientific research, music has the power to positively influence our mood and enhance our sense of well being.

In this walk, we invite you to join us in a music therapy session. Throughout the hike, we will also aim to bring our awareness to the surrounding natural soundscape through different mindfulness exercises. Thus, along with the therapeutic benefits of music, we seek to amplify the restorative qualities of being outdoors to their full potential.

The unique landscape of Arriba Fóssil da Costa de Caparica is our chosen natural setting for this event. The unusual shapes of this fossil cliff can be seen in their full splendor at dusk, as they acquire the sunset’s golden tones. This woodland is a botanical reserve, dominated by native flowers, stone pines, and mastic-trees.
