About

As the sun sets, the landscape starts to change. Spectacular colors emerge and unfold in the twilight sky, until it gradually darkens and the stars slowly light up. While some animals head to their nightly slumber, others stay awake and alert. As light diminishes, your hearing is enhanced, allowing you to listen carefully to the changing surroundings.

The walk takes place at night time, starting a bit before sunset. Our trusted guides will safely navigate you through the paths, enabling you to freely enjoy the wonders of the forest in the dark. You will also have the opportunity to look at the stars with a telescope, exploring a small fraction of the vast universe that surrounds us.

The unique landscape of Arriba Fóssil da Costa de Caparica is our chosen natural setting for this event. The unusual shapes of this fossil cliff can be seen in their full splendour at dusk, as they acquire the sunset’s golden tones. This woodland is a botanical reserve, dominated by native flowers, stone pines and mastic-trees.
